Kishore R. Dalal founded the Group's first venture, Electroslush, in 1966, followed by Digital Electronics Ltd.
(DEL) in 1973.

UNIDEL as it exists today was built on this foundation and is led by his son, Sunil K. Dalal, Founder and Chairman.

Kishore was an engineer from Case Western Reserve University and a pioneering entrepreneur. He built his businesses from the ground up in 1966, in an era of government controls and limited engineering and manufacturing infrastructure, establishing a leading position in the Indian market through local knowledge, local skill, and innovation.

Beyond business, he was a compassionate leader who cared deeply about the wellbeing and growth of every member of the UNIDEL family.
