Established by Rasiklal Maneklal to further his philanthropic efforts in Bombay, the Nirmala Rasiklal Charity Trust (NRCT) carries forward the Dalal family’s long-standing commitment to giving back.
Today, supported by the Dalal family and UNIDEL’s CSR contributions, NRCT supports individuals and initiatives across education, healthcare and youth development.
Education & Opportunity
Education can change the trajectory of an individual, a family and, ultimately, a community. NRCT supports students and families for whom the cost of education can stand in the way of their aspirations. Through financial assistance provided on a case-by-case basis, we aim to help young people continue their education, pursue their goals and build stronger futures for themselves and their families.
Medical Support
We believe in standing by the people who are part of the UNIDEL family when they need it most. NRCT provides financial assistance for urgent medical needs when individuals or families may not be able to meet the costs themselves. Support is assessed on a case-by-case basis, helping provide access to necessary treatment and care.
Empowering India’s Youth
Through initiatives in partnership with ProTeen, UNIDEL’s CareerTech platform, NRCT creates opportunities for young people across India to discover and demonstrate their potential. Initiatives such as the ProTeen Young Achiever Scholarship help make career guidance and educational opportunities more accessible to students who may otherwise be unable to access them. NRCT also supports career competitions and challenges designed to encourage students to explore their interests, build confidence, develop meaningful portfolios and gain exposure beyond the classroom. Together, these initiatives aim to help more young people discover what they are capable of – and give them the opportunity to pursue it.
