Required Technical Expertise:
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Wireless Protocol Engineer with hands-on experience in Zigbee, Matter, Thread, and BLE technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Linux-based systems, with practical experience working on OpenWrt. Familiarity with prpl Foundation technologies is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on Linux-based embedded systems, specifically OpenWrt, for networked devices.
- Design, develop, and maintain wireless communication protocols including Zigbee, Matter, Thread, and BLE.
- Integrate and troubleshoot protocol stacks and device firmware.
- Participate in system design discussions and provide technical recommendations for connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure and scalable IoT solutions.
- Optimize performance and ensure reliability of protocol implementations on embedded platforms.
- Optional: Work with prpl Foundation tools and frameworks to enhance device capabilities.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in C/C++ programming and embedded system debugging.
- Hands-on experience with OpenWrt development and customization.
- Strong understanding of Zigbee, Matter protocols.
- Embedded Linux development experience (kernel, drivers, and application layer).
- Knowledge of networking and IoT protocols.
Additional Advantage:
- Experience with prpl Foundation stack and related tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Experienced in implementing secure development methodologies, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and systems integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Communication, or Embedded Systems Engineering.
- Strong expertise in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.
- Knowledge of smart lighting ecosystems (Philips Hue, Leviton, Lutron, etc.).
- Experience developing dimmable, tunable-white, or RGB/RGBW lighting solutions.
- Familiarity with safety, compliance, and certification processes for lighting products.
