Job Description:
- Work with Linux and Windows environments, handling system configurations, file systems, and shell scripting.
- Manage Git repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) for version control and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot and optimize networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Automate system configurations using Ansible (experience with Puppet or Chef is a plus).
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with exposure to services like:
- AWS: EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC.
- Azure: Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking.
- GCP: Compute, Storage, Networking.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and cluster management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, deployment, and system reliability
- Experienced in implementing secure development methodologies, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and systems integrity
Qualifications and Skills
- Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals and basic Windows Server administration.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and repository management tools.
- Scripting: Hands-on experience with Python or Bash for automation (mandatory).
- Networking: Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- CI/CD: Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible (Puppet or Chef is optional).
- Cloud Computing: Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Containerization & Orchestration:
