Role Description
We are seeking a motivated flora and fauna enthusiast to join our team at UNIDEL. This internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the fields of zoology and botany, contributing to ongoing research projects and assisting in various tasks related to the study and conservation of flora and fauna.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough study of the flora and fauna at the farm.
- Undertake field surveys to collect data on wildlife populations, plant species, and ecological habitats.
- Conduct sample analysis and present the findings.
- Support research projects by conducting literature reviews, compiling research findings, and assisting with data interpretation.
- Aid in the maintenance of botanical gardens.
- Assist in the development and implementation of conservation initiatives.
Eligibility
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Zoology, Botany, Ecology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in wildlife biology, plant ecology, and conservation science.
- Basic knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in fieldwork and outdoor research activities.
